  • 2017-18 School Year is off to a great start! We have had an amazing start to the school year thanks to amazing kids, parents, and staff!  Students are settling in nicely in their classes and we have some great things going on inside and beyond the classroom.  Mr. Sault had our Gr. 3-6 cross-country runners practising within the first week and they are running daily after school from 3:15 until 3:50.  We will be holding the annual whole school Terry Fox run on Friday, September 29th, first thing in the morning.  Come on out and join us for this great cause.  Mrs. Heeney and Mrs. Toding have also organized a wonderful group of Grade 6 students to support positive student games during the nutrition breaks ...

Principal's Message - From Mrs. Lori Waugh

I would like to welcome, students, parents and members of our community to the Pauline Johnson Public School website.  We hope this website will be informative and convenient for you to use.  We would appreciate any feedback on this site and how we could make it most useful for you.  Communication between home and school is critical to student success.  Parents are encouraged to use every opportunity to keep themselves informed about school programs and their children's progress through reading this website, our electronic communication, notes from your child's teacher, face to face meetings, and through our Friday weekly blog.  Should you have any questions about events at school or about your child's progress, please do not hesitate to contact the school.  Our teachers and support staff are committed to providing quality, caring education to our students and are here to help students become the best they can be. We are committed to supporting students' learning with positive feedback, meaningful learning experiences and appropriate challenges to help them on their educational journey.  Parents are also an important part of a student's educational journey.  Please visit the parent section of this site for some great resources.  We value your participation in the learning process and invite you to volunteer in our classrooms, school events and School Council so that we may all work together to continue to make Pauline Johnson a great place to learn and grow. Finally, I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome you have given me as the new Principal of this school.  I feel honoured and privileged to work with all of you.
