Items available on the cart for our students to 'top-up' their tummies change weekly, but usually include:

• fresh fruit

• crackers and cheese

• cereal

• muffins

• yogurt tubes

• apple sauce

During our Nutrition Breaks, grade 6 student leaders called, 'Tummy Tamers,' help students make good choices when they are choosing from the items on the cart.

This program is implemented by wonderful parent volunteers who prepare the menu, place the order, shop for groceries and prepare the food. These parents also offer school-wide special snacks throughout the month like smoothies, veggie cups, and our own PJ Trail Mix receipe.
